Prime Minister Donates Winter Coats to Troops

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife, Bun Rany Hun Sen have provided winter coats to standing forces in Preah Vihear province. The initiative was to prepare the troops for the coming cold season.

Deputy Commander of the Army Lt. Gen. Srey Duek has led the distribution of the items to the personnel at the Preah Vihear temple.

The headquarters of the 3rd Intervention Division was chosen by Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife for the distribution of winter coats. The coats were given to a total of 25 units including armed forces and authorities at the temple of Preah Vihear. It was led by the Deputy Commander of the Army Lt. Gen. Srey Duek.

The armed forces have expressed its gratitude to Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife, Bun Rany Hun Sen whose generous gift was gratefully received. The Prime Minister has also donated $0.75 each person per day to assist them in their daily needs and help improve the daily life of the armed forces by increasing their standard of living. The army has committed to serve and protect the Prime Minister and his family in all situations, especially to protect the nation, the King & the Constitution.
